2017 Halloween Run was a huge success

record numbers at the 2017 Will-Kare Halloween Run.  over 65 participants took the trails with costumes, strollers and a variety of in between.  Thank you to Andrew Lake for sponsoring this event for the 6th year.  Congrats to Old Barns who won the school participation award for the second year in a row. To Audrie-Jo McConkey who won best adult costume and the Angel of Death who won the    gotruro.ca – “we run”

Mile Race Sat Apr 22 2017

Saturday April 22nd. Back again with a Spring Mile.

Location: 57 Golf St Truro TAAC grounds.

Registration: will take place on site.

The adult mile will start around 1000am. no earlier but maybe a bit later depending on the turnout.
Youth can move up as well. See the list below. If you plan on attending and have raced the mile in the past send your personal best or your favorite info or first mile so we can announce during the event.
An excellent opportunity to benchmark your fitness especially for those heading into a track or road race season.

We may combine different ages depending on the the turnout.

We have been running since 2012. This is our 5th outdoor mile.

Annual New Years Day Run 5th year

We are back again with our 5th New Years Day Run and Walk.  We are starting off the year with a walk, fun run, run on Sunday January 1st 2017 from 1:30-3:30 at the Douglas Street Recreation Centre in Truro.

Spooky Saturday Halloween Run

5th annual Halloween Run was punctuated by a bottle flip contest, best costumes and some exercise on the cobequid trail at Will-Kare Paving and Contracting.  School Participation Award goes to Old Barns!  Thank you everybody. October 29, 2016img_4507
